Depends on your design. when a bullnose is not available, one of the things to do is look at the tile edges made by Schluter Systems. They have rounded, square, and flat trims In a variety of finishes to match your faucets or design taste. Another option would be to use a contrasting bullnose, pencil, or ogee edge in stone, ceramic, or if you can find it, glass. On a kitchen island, wood is also often used as an edge for tile or to cover the dark edge of plastic laminate.
