This tile does require grout if it is installed on a area subjected to water or steam such as backsplash and bathroom walls. If you want to use it a decor/feature wall, grout is not really necessary, however be aware that it might get dirty in the grout joints over time as it will be exposed. You may use a flexible/silicone base glue to allow for expansion.
